Highgrove Church is an exciting place to be a student. Whether you're a committed Christian, just looking or simply intrigued, you'll find plenty to engage with here. But don't take it from us, hear from our students about what it's like at Highgrove:
At Highgrove, we really value our students and the valuable contribution they make to the life of the church. We are passionate about enabling students to grow in their faith and to develop their gifts. There are many ways of doing this: playing in the worship band, helping with children's church, joining the welcome or refreshments team or serving the local community by volunteering at Cafe on the Square. Students also have the opportunity to be linked up with a mentor (someone else from church that comes alongside you and encourages you in your faith).
Highgrove is a church where it's easy to leave the student bubble. Our students are well integrated within the church family and get to know children and adults alike. However, this does not stop our students from getting well acquainted with each other. We have regular student activities which provide opportunities to develop good friendships and grow together in faith. These include our weekly gathering after church where we eat cake, catch up and pray; and Furnace, our student/young adult small group which meets fortnightly on Tuesday evenings.
