Advent Challenge 

The month of December can get CRAZY! It’s easy for the busyness and commercialism to push out the wonder and true significance of Christmas. It means we can suddenly arrive at Christmas Day without really appreciating the extraordinary gift of Jesus.

So here’s the challenge:

As groups of 3 or 4 people, we will use an online Bible plan to read small sections of the Bible each day, starting on 1 December 2024. This 25 day plan will help us prepare for Christmas. 

The plan will explore the significance of Jesus' birth in the context of the whole Bible. It helps unpack what we’ve read and gives an opportunity to pause and apply the passage to our lives in prayer. 

There’s an option to listen to, instead of read the passages, if that fits better into your day.

Then you can either use the YouVersion Bible App to share your reflections with the rest of your group each day, or set up a separate Whatsapp group to do the same if that’s easier.
