Welcome to Bristol!
Ready to get stuck in?
Highgrove is a local community church where it's easy to get stuck in and feel like you are part of the church family. We are passionate about giving our student opportunities to ask questions, grow in faith, take risks and develop their gifts.
Highgrove is also a church where you can leave the student bubble. There are so many opportunities for students to get stuck in with our mission to see our local community transformed as we share God’s love with our neighbours.
We have lots of things going on during freshers that you won’t want to miss:
On Monday 23rd - Wednesday 25th September, we are helping to run the infamous Student Welcome BBQ, so don’t forget to grab a free burger at lunchtime from our main Woodlands venue.
Come along on Saturday 5th October, to enjoy an evening of board games and pizza, and you can hear about life here at Highgrove.
We are going to be getting together as a student community to enjoy a LOT of cake after all our morning services in September and October.
Student Life at Highgrove
We have regular student activities which provide opportunities for us to get to know one another and grow together in faith:
We weekly gather after each Sunday morning service to eat cake, catch up and pray.
We also meet fortnightly, on a Tuesday evenings, as a group of students and young adults, to eat, pray and worship together and work out what it means to follow Jesus in our daily lives.
Finally, as part of the Woodlands group of churches, there are opportunities to get involved with an even bigger extended family of students, by joining in ith lots of social events, including our Bonfire Night Special, our massive annual Student Weekend Away and the infamous Christmas Ceilidh.
