Sundays: Children and Young People
As far as we're concerned, there's no age limit on discipleship. That’s why our aim with Children’s Church is not simply to entertain kids and hope they stay distracted. We want to help them discover for themselves what it means to follow Jesus and become like him.
At each 10.30am Sunday Service we run structured activities in groups, as well as providing crèche facilities for the very young. These groups, led by volunteers and church team, aim to give children a quality experience that is engaging, fun and meaningful.
If you have a child under 12 months, you are welcome to use our baby room at any time during our morning service. With comfy seats, baby changing facilities and a live video feed from the main hall, you'll have the best seats in the house!
For children aged 1 to 4. We meet in the back section of the hall, starting each session around the snack table. Each session has a snack time, thinking time and playing time. We finish with some songs and story.
For Children aged 4-6. We meet in the portacabin next to the kitchen. We enjoy chatting and playing games. We look at a bit of the bible each week and think about how that relates to our lives. There’s lots of space for free play and creative worship together too.
For Children aged 6-11. We walk down to the Methodist church for our session. There are lively games, great craft and a chance to go deeper into the bible in our small groups.
Devotion for School Years 7 to 12
A time for teenagers to develop their faith, featuring:
- social, creative, activity time
- teaching time
- small groups for discussion
- prayer
You can book your children into a group when you come on a Sunday morning, there's no need to register in advance. If you have any questions at all, grab anyone in a green t-shirt and they will be happy to help. All our volunteers are DBS checked.
We also run a range of mid-week activities.
