Self-sufficiency is a fallacy when it comes to the Christian life. Everything about following Jesus points us to our dependency on Him.
But so often we try to do things in our own strengths or abilities. Why?
How do we hold the tension between dependency on Jesus and taking responsibility for our lives?
Many of our favourite stories have a hero at the centre. A special someone who defies all the odds to succeed.
But God’s plot line involves many people with many gifts working in partnership - with Him and with one another.
Why has God designed us this way? How has He designed us to work? How do we help each other?
