Being an apprentice of Jesus involves not just following but being sent, to ‘go and make [apprentices] of all nations’. Jesus sent His disciples to ‘do the stuff’ (e.g. Luke 9:1-2 and 13 ‘You give them something to eat’).

Jesus evaluated their mission trips, He received progress reports. He challenged and encouraged them.

In this talk, Rachel Clarke asks what is the ‘stuff’ Jesus has for us today? What does it look like to be sent by Him to do the things He would do and where are we sent? How does He equip us?

At the end of this talk, Rachel asks 3 questions for us to think about:

  1.  Invite Jesus to show you how much he cares for you.

  2. What would Jesus do if he were [INSERT YOUR NAME]?

  3. What habits will help you keep your attention fixed on Jesus?
